Hi, I’m Dr. melissa fernandez.

I am a steady compass guiding individuals toward a journey of trauma recovery, healing, and empowerment. I hope to emit a sophisticated and warm approach rooted in principles of gender-based equality and a commitment to high-vibration well-being.

I speak the language of compassion, authenticity, and love, creating a safe haven for those on the path to self-discovery. My holistic lens, integrating science-informed trauma-focused practices and yogic wisdom, elevates the process of healing to a higher vibrational frequency.

I am an advocate of mindful living, encouraging a harmonious connection between mind and body. I know what it feels like to triumph over sexual & attachment trauma, employing EMDR and holistic practices, transforming pain into a source of strength.

Words like compassion, authenticity, and love are not just rhetoric; they are the guiding forces in my commitment to whole well-being. I hope to help you embody the magnetic allure of self-love and generosity, creating an atmosphere where you feel not only seen and heard but also living in alignment with your highest purpose.

My Approach

I’ve gathered healing wisdom from working with veterans who experienced physical and military sexual trauma, children and families who experienced sexual, physical & emotional abuse, and college students who experienced sexual violence & various forms of trauma. I have integrated a multicultural intergenerational attachment theory foundation, with the third-wave cognitive-behavioral science; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and EMDR for trauma therapy; all while addressing and acknowledging balances in power and privilege. I help you heal and transmute the shame and guilt around who you are into expressions of love, excitement, and joy for living.
